I had the pleasure of sampling the Classic Pomodoro pasta and was impressed by the perfect al dente texture and flavorful sauce. The Saturday Special, a value deal that includes a pasta dish and a glass of wine for under $20, is a must-try for anyone looking for a great deal on delicious pasta.

If you are looking for freshly made pasta, look no further. Forma offers a delectable array of pasta dishes. The food rich and tasty. The portions may look small but actually are just enough. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor space in the back is cozy. The food comes out fast. They have a very friendly crew which is an added delight. And not that you need more carbs but if you ask, they give extra bread.

Delicious, delicious for a very reasonable price. It's yummy, it's hearty, it's filling, it comes with bread and great service. I've tried the pipette ragu and the Friday special (lamb orecchiette) and both are SO good. The pipette ragu is a creamy but herby sauce, whereas the orecchiette is rich in flavor but not quite as heavy. They pair great together if you can share two with a buddy.

Stopped by on a Wednesday after 8 and although it took a while to get a table it was still worth it! We got an order of the meatballs and 2 orders of the pipette ragu. The meatballs were good but a little on the tough side. Pasta was also very tasty and i loved that it is served piping hot. It is also a big enough portion to fill you up. My only complaint is that the pasta was a little too al dente. It was hard to the point where my jaw got tired of chewing. Otherwise flavors were perfect and very fresh.

Forma Pasta Factory in Brooklyn is a true gem for pasta lovers. During my visit, I tried three different types of pasta: Pappardelle Bolognese, Gemelli Pesto, and Pipette Ragu. Each dish was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The freshness and quality of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The bread they serve is another highlight--fluffy, soft, and perfect for dipping in the rich sauces. The back seating area provides a chill and relaxing atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a meal. The service is great. They are very attentive and always ensuring we are good. I would gladly return to Forma Pasta Factory. The combination of amazing, fresh-tasting food and a comfortable ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone in Brooklyn.

Situated perfectly between Greenpoint and Brooklyn, Forma is a fantastic casual dining spot with a great ambiance that is easily accessible by subway if you're traveling from the city. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal choice for any occasion. The food is exceptional and very reasonably priced. I was impressed with their wine selection and the great deals they offer. The manager truly goes above and beyond to accommodate guests, ensuring a pleasant and memorable dining experience. Forma Pasta Factory is a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for great pasta at an affordable price If you're faced with the option of going to the supermarket or grabbing dinner at forma, just go for forma. You really can't beat the price and it's delicious ***pro tip: I wouldn't have come for the desserts off first glance, but they absolutely slap

This place used to be a hidden gem in Greenpoint/Williamsburg area. It's right off of McCarran Park so it's a busy spot now full of locals and visitors alike. Massive crowds and lines with little to no room to sit. The pasta is flavorful, affordable, and is an easy go to/reliable spot. Service was slow, but that can be attributed to how busy it was on a Friday evening. Classic Pomodoro pasta was cooked nicely. Al dente and sauce is flavorful. The pipette ragú was well received by my friend. I will certainly return.

Absolutely love Forma! This was probably our fifth time here? Once being at their Fort Greene location. Their proximity to McCarren Park and the subway with their delicious, affordable prices cannot be beat. Their prices have gone up $1 in the past year ($13 pastas and $16 daily special bumped up to $14 and $17, respectively), but they're still incredibly reliable and affordable. We've sampled their meatball appetizer (larger meatballs than in the spaghetti), their spaghetti&meatballs, papprdelle bolognase, fettuccine funghi, pipette ragu and mafaldone scampi. I think we've had some daily specials as well but don't recall which ones! Each order also comes with complimentary focaccia that's always so fresh and flavorful. Their pasta portions are perfect and excellently paired with their topping and sauces, although they do not allow substitutions of any kind. We also love their daily special of a pasta and glass of wine for $18. Such a deal. I do want to note that Forma is counter-order only, they give you silverware, cups for water, and a number to place on your table as it's open seating. It can take a second to find a table, but with so many indoor/outdoor options, we've never failed to find a table before our order is ready. And that's with a line to wait! Which moves fast btw. Favorite orders to far are the Scampi and the Pipette Ragu. Neither are too saucy and they are just loaded with flavor.

This place was popping when I came here on Saturday! There was so many people getting to go pastas and people dining in. I ordered the Saturday special pasta, and two other pasta and a kale salad. The table also comes with fresh bread which was really good! However the kale salad had a little too much dressing and I didn't really enjoy the pasta in the ragu. But I love the shrimp pasta and the Saturday special pasta a lot. It's a great place to come with your friends and the staff here are really friendly and helpful!

(Overall: B) - Forma Pasta Factory has been a place I've been wanting to try for a long time and I think is definitely worth another visit. They are priced very well with considerate staff and a pleasant ambience with the hidden room in the back. The food was intruiging too, but after trying my friend's pasta, which was even larger shape and even more al dente, I felt that the control on the hardness of the pasta needs a bit more care. (Trofie - Saturday Special: B) - This is a value deal of a pasta with fresh pasta, made and cooked right in front of you for less than $20! I really like the tomato based flavor with an intense flavor profile, and the short rib was very tender and paired well with the dish. The red onions were particularly interesting as the acidity help add some sharp contrast, but I would've liked to see more of it. My only restraint from this dish is the pasta is a bit too hard, so cooking it for 1 more minute would be preferable. (Cauliflower: A+) - The cauliflower is a stellar side all around for only $7! The roasted cauliflower is very tender and well seasoned. I was also particularly impressed by the flavor development of that dressing from the pine nuts to the olive oil and vinegar, to the herbs and chili. This is a refreshing side I highly recommend for all. -- Food: E Presentation: E Price: +1 Atmosphere: +1 Service: +1 Menu: E Overall: +3 B Insta/Beli: @amei_eats

Honestly a taaad overhyped to me, especially during peak busy hours. From the time we joined the line around 8pm on a Friday evening (it was out the door) to the time the pastas arrived at our table, it took about 45 min total. With the casual counter style service we were also stressed about snagging a table indoors but after just a couple min of hovering we were luckily able to get one. The wait staff were friendly despite the crowd, zooming in and out to deliver the hot plates of pastas to everyone. As for the pastas themselves - we ordered the shrimp scampi (now $14) and the Friday special, lamb ragu ($17). There was no doubt that the pastas were fresh and perfectly Al dente but in my opinion both dishes were overly salted in flavor. Really decent portion size though and for the scampi, a fair amount of shrimps! The complimentary bread was also a nice touch and a great way to soak up the leftover pasta juices. At this price point I'd probably return only if the wait time was shorter or for takeout.
